R&D Technologist

Job Summary:

Join our Dairy Business Unit as an R&D Technologist and help innovate and deliver cost savings across beloved brands like Yoplait, Oui, and :ratio. In this mostly hands-on role, you’ll lead cost-reduction initiatives and product improvement efforts through experimentation, pilot plant testing, and data analysis. You’ll collaborate across teams to bring ideas to life in a manufacturing setting while developing technical expertise in dairy processing technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute benchtop and pilot plant experiments independently or with team guidance
• Conduct lab analytical testing and analyze experimental data to generate insights
• Document and share findings with cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain technical expertise in specific areas
• Lead portions of project work, including cost-savings and consumer learning initiatives
• Support plant trials in collaboration with other technical associates
• Partner with scientists to develop or enhance testing methods as needed
