MANAGER TRAINEE

Job Summary

This is a short-term transitional role designed to prepare individuals for promotion into store management positions. The role combines hands-on work assignments with formal training in key areas of store operations, customer service, and team leadership. Progression to a management position typically occurs within 8–12 weeks based on performance and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing retail and commercial store operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example to motivate store teams.
• Assist in financial performance by analyzing and managing Profit and Loss statements.
• Contribute to inventory management and ensure stock accuracy.
• Participate in employee staffing, onboarding, training, and development activities.
• Complete structured operations and management training assignments.
• Demonstrate consistent progress and maintain satisfactory performance throughout the training period.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1–2 years of prior experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bilingual ability preferred but not required.
• Automotive experience and familiarity with financial statements (e.g., P&L) preferred but not required.

Salary

Compensation range: $16.50 – $22.98 per hour, depending on experience and location.
